Laurita and I decided Saturday was the perfect day to get our sugar fix! Alas, we headed down to Canton to the “newly” opened CakeLove store!
Oh Boy, Oh Boy! What a site to see and DELICIOUS TOO!!
The shop was not too packed on this lovely afternoon…
and here we are at the checkout! We spent ~$14 on our sugar fix, but we don’t care!!
Here is our first delciousness: a slice of the toffee crunch. The homemade toffee was not what we were expecting and a tad toooo sugary, but the chocolate cake and caramel buttercream were divine.
and now for more fun! I got the vanilla cupcake with strawberry icing and Laura got the vanilla cupcake with chocolate icing. I have to say, their fruit flavored icings are fantastic, especially with the fruit pieces! We have never experienced a class of frosting as buttery and “melty in your mouth” as this!
And we got to enjoy these lovely desserts sitting on the dock on the harbor right across the street!
What a lovely adventure.
