sauced fettucine, corn and some leftovers…
May 1, 2008 at 8:26 am | In Dinner | Leave a CommentLaurita has been craving spaghetti lately, so I figured I would do my best to make something from the pantry!

It’s a very simple dish and the corn was delicious and we had a wee bit of french onion soup left, so we pounded on that!
Ingredients:
3/4 lb fettucine
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
evoo
1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan
couple leaves of fresh basil (off the vine!!)
1 tbsp italian dried herb mix
Directions:
1)Heat up water for corn (+splash sugar) and heat up another water for pasta (+splash of evoo and salt)
2)Once boiling throw in pasta and cook for 10 minutes and add corn after 4 minutes and cook for 6 minutes.
3)Heat up 1 count olive oil and saute garlic over medium-low heat for 30 seconds. Add sauce and diced tomatoes and add dried spices and heat until pasta is ready.
4) Throw sauce over pasta, add cheese and basil! Drench corn with some butter and old bay! Heat up and prepare french onion soup as before! Enjoy!
